My first blog ever.
Okay, so not really that eventful. Especially not in comparison to the reason for blogging that is the true momentous occasion today - my first day in London to start our two year adventure!
Most of you have probably heard me talk enough about how exciting and interesting it would be to get over to Europe for a few years for work and I've finally come to the realization that its happening.
I didn't fully realize this a few months ago when I was accepted to the "secondment" transfer. I didn't fully realize this a few days ago when I started the final move. I didn't fully realize this 18 hours ago when I sat at Sea-Tac or hopped on board the airplane.
I fully realized this about two hours ago in our new flat (not an apartment - we're not in the US anymore) as I was unpacking in silence and had a very brief "What the Hell is Going On? - I'm in London!" moment.
From there, I thought it was best to quickly get through the rest of my unpacking and head to the local pub so I could get wi-fi. Only wanted wi-fi, nothing else at the pub. Oh yeah, I did have to make a purchase:
I have so much more I could write but I have two years for that and don't want to waste it in one posting.
Guess I'm figuring out this blog thing pretty well...
